Cosmetic Testing on Animals Video Transcript: A: Approximately 100,000 to 200,000 animals suffer and die from cosmetic testing yearly around the world.
B: Some of the animals that they test on are rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and mice.
B: People think that dogs are tested on. They aren’t used for makeup testing but around the world they are used to test other types of chemicals.
A: When they test on the animals they shave their skin and around the eyes.
A: The tests can cause eye irritation when the products are rubbed onto the skin or dripped into the eyes.
B: Animals don’t have the same pores as humans,The test can last for weeks or even months to look for signs of general illnesses or health hazards.
