THE MANDELA EFFECT
What is the Mandela Effect?
The Madela effect is just a false memory, which means that it is a psychological phenomenon where a person recalls something that did not happen or recalls it differently from the way it happened.
The Mandela effect is named after Nelson Mandela. People thought he died in jail but he was released Feb. 27, 1990, after being in prison for 27 years, and became President of South Africa
Examples
People Thought that Pikachu had a black tail but he really doesn't .
People thought Mickey Mouse had suspenders but he didn’t; he is wearing shorts.
People thought that ¨Sex and the City¨ was spelled ¨Sex in the City.¨
Possible Explanations/Theories
1. A possible explanation could be that there are multiple universes where the effects are the opposite. 2. There are several alternate realities and everyone could be living in their very own.
3. Glitches in the universe could also be an explanation to why certain people cannot remember how things really were.
